Can a down-at-heel private eye trust himself when he takes a job he doesn't want? His grip on reality wavers as he sinks deeper into a confusion of murders, violence and corruption in 1950's Los Angeles. Wartime memories and the ghost of a murdered girl haunt him as he seeks a way through the lies. Who can he trust? Not the client, not what he's told - and maybe not himself.

Five hearts, one horror

40 parti Completa

Five high school students - total strangers with absolutely nothing in common - are shocked to learn they've jointly inherited a multimillion-dollar estate from a wealthy woman none of them have ever met. Days later, the mysterious benefactor is confirmed to have been murdered. Now, the teens are prime suspects in an active investigation. As police begin interrogations, they're forced together under one roof - a sprawling, decaying mansion perched in the Los Angeles hills, filled with secrets, shadows, and whispers. One of them swears it's haunted. Another swears one of them is lying. What starts as survival becomes something deeper - love, betrayal, buried pasts, paranormal terror... and a killer hiding in plain sight. What could be more nerve-wracking than knowing your life, your heart, and your freedom depend on trusting the very people who might destroy you?
