April Hale is a teenager with long brown hair, green eyes, and a secret. Nobody knows it, even her parents and her three little brothers. She lives above the most popular restaurant in the state, which her father is the founder of. She had been to a 40-person school in the surrounding town, but to prepare her for high school the next year, she was thrust in the city public school with thousands of people, including girls who try to shape her into a new person. Her parents don't seem to care either; they just have her work at the restaurant where April has lived her whole life.
Daniela O'Brien doesn't want to be involved in what everyone is interested in. She just wants to keep drawing; it's much more important than shopping, boys, and designer clothes. The popular girls seem to like her, so she goes along. Whatever. Then she catches sight of that new girl and it all changes.
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
