Every child that was recruited to the institute was but a mere pawn, awaiting to be targeted, and forfeiting their humanity. There hasn't been a person who had their right mind behind the gateway of the building's entrance; it was certain that misery awaited.

Deprived from their cruel families, being received with sharp, bitter eyes that could destruct a pure soul, they knew the moment they surpassed the divine gates that peace was nothing more than a joyful memory of the past. Their personalities and reasons to be alive would be terminated, it would vanish like measly dust- and they'd become dull. Smiles and laughter were buried, as the sole purpose of Chromatic Institution was to break every hope.

Although said Guardian looks like a goopy tar stained horror that you'd see only in Lovecraftian horror or your nightmares, Error couldn't care, for he had a nice Guardian despite it's awful looks! After all, you should never judge a book by it's over.
