(sequel to Ninjago : My River Flows in You)

It's been 3 years since the final battle and Ninjago city is now at peace, or so they thought; as the years passed Lloyd's family grew, but so did the danger that lurks around him.

A strange figure kept watching Lloyd ever since the final battle ended, and Lloyd unexpectedly gets a dark corruption that affects his heart turning it from one of  pure light into dark bitterness; this is an advantage the enemies intend to make use of.

As secrets are revealed, allies are introduced and enemies are growing stronger. Why is this figure watching Lloyd, and who is it? Whats up with the corruption? and most importantly, who is this new enemy?

all answers are revealed within the story, so read if you wanna know!

That is, until he's nearly assassinated. Soon after, the King calls for Ninjago's greatest heroes to protect Kai and his sister from possible danger. Lloyd Garmadon, the Green Ninja and leader of the infamous ninja team, is one of the chosen ninjas tasked with protecting the royal family. He's assigned to Prince Kai-heir to the throne and charming in his cockiness. Things go well at first, but then danger once again emerges-this time inside the royal family's inner circle. They discover they possess elemental powers, and master the art of Spinjitzu to combat the Serpentine threat, although Y/n has not unlocked said elemental powers, yet. * * * All your life you knew the Brookstones.(IK that's not their real last name, but it sounds better then 'Bucket', soooo) and for the longest time, the Brookstones son, Cole was your best friend. And what felt like forever, you had a crush on him, but you didn't want to tell him, out of fear he didn't feel the same way. (In this story, when Cole goes away he isn't found by Sensei Wu till after you.) When one day, you went over to his house, and his Dad said that he had gone away to the Marty Oppenheimer School of the Art's, which didn't sound right. After a few months, weird stuff started happening to you. One day, you were approached by an old man, claiming that you were an Elemental master, and that you needed to train to be a ninja. At first you were sceptical, but after some thought, you went with him. After about a month, the man said he wanted you to meet some other people like you. You didn't know what you expected, but you didn't expect Cole to be one of the people you were to meet. The man probably didn't expect you to know any of the people, but when you ran up to Cole and hugged him, you could say, it took him by surprise. quick note, you have two brother's, one older brother, and one younger brother. The Ninja, a group of 6 friends, found out what had happened. Harumi had half succeeded in bringing Garmadon back, bringing him back home as his normal sensei self. A few years after the reunion of Sensei Garmadon back to the monastery with the Ninja, some of the team decided that they were ready to have a family outside of Ninja duties and between missions. Sometime, a call about an abandoned building had light coming from one of the 10 story floors, showing suspicious activity. The building itself used to be a laboratory, and used as a secret base for suspicious people. Lloyd, the Green Ninja, and the rest of the team had been called to investigate this building and retain any suspects.
