Nixie Matthews is a 17 year old contestant in a death game, where 100 living people enter but only 10 living people leave. At first, the game seems easy, collecting food and drink. But after the first day, things get real. 

Once Nixie is hunted by someone she thought she could trust, she realises she has to kill to live and live to kill. Will Nixie be one of the 10 survivors? Or will she sacrifice herself to save her friends?

After her mother was murdered by humans it will take Rose a lot more than kindness from a human to trust in. Will both girls survive this castophe?
