In the fictional 18th century world known as Terra, Gaven Knight's goal in life is to find his foster father who is believed to be a Zodiac. In order to do so, he tries to become a Meister. The story follows the use of a mysterious energy called Viii; an untapped energy dwelling in the human mind. With things to be discovered, Gaven teams up with his close friend Ryezo Liger to become Meisters and join the famous Legion known as Tempest.
