This is dedicated to the middle schoolers who aren't at the top of the social chain.

The ones who would rather read Harry Potter and Percy Jackson than watch the movies.

Who prefer libraries over theaters.

Home over parties.

Classes over cafeterias.

The bullied over the bullier.

This book is for those who, instead of using their mouths, use their mind's eye.

To the idiots who don't know what that is, it's your imagination.
--------------------
The beginning of my antisocialness was in 2nd grade when I was accused of stealing someone's hair. Ever since then, my life has been full of thrown books, dumped lunches, and messy pranks. I've never minded it since I knew I could handle it. Sort of.

Now, in 8th grade, I begin to really worry about high school. I've seen all those stereotypical high school movies about the 'nerd' who gets bullied by being thrown into a dumpster or having their clothes stolen away in gym.

I keep telling myself that I don't need anyone, even though deep down, I just need a friend. That's where Mason Everett comes in.

To everybody reading this foolish book about my life, this isn't gonna be a book where the guy saves the girl or the girl saves the guy. NOBODY IS SAVING ANYBODY. We are all regular students and this is my regular story which ends up involving a non-relative, so it may be interesting. There will be no 'falling in love' of any sort. Hopefully.
