-WARNING-This can get gory-Take caution-

Joshua was a daring soul, always ready to explore the extent of his small medieval village. The 17 year old did anything he wanted. Nothing scared him,

Not even the old legends of the horrid creature that lurked in the shadows of the town park at midnight.

When the moon was high, as the story was told by elders, a monster was released to take the bad children away. The thing would drink their blood as a warning to leave the evil in the night at peace, but it you did anything that was "bad" to the demon, even during the day, it would hunt you down if you came to the park at night and tear you apart until you were unrecognizable.

But of course it was just a myth. An old wise tale to keep young ones from being eaten by wolves if they wandered out at night.
