Those are the words that Dean Winchester writes in his brother’s dictionary. They’re the words that are written in half of the dictionaries in the school library. They’re the words that will more than likely get him expelled the next time a homophobic jackass decides to pick up a dictionary. They’re the words that people know Dean wrote, even without being told. They’re words scribbled in black ink, smudged here and there. They’re words that are true.

Those are the words that Castiel Novak writes in his dictionary. They’re the words everyone knows, even though he’s never told them to anyone else but Dean. They’re the words Dean loves hearing. They’re the words he smiles at. They’re words written perfectly in blue ink. They’re words that are true.

Castiel Novak finally has his life sorted out. He’s maintaining good grades, keeping in good health, and even trying to make a friend or two. Until Dean, at least.
Castiel had known he was gay for a long time, and he had accepted it a long time ago, too, so when he sees Dean Winchester for the first time, he isn’t surprised that he’s head over heals for him.
Dean Winchester is trying - he really is. He’s trying to make money to send his brother to school, he’s trying to bang as many girls as possible, he’s trying to stop setting bad examples for Sam - there are a lot of things Dean Winchester’s trying to do. Getting a boyfriend, however, isn’t one of them.
