More lessons are Learnt on the sports field than in the classroom

education has come a long way from Reading and writing. The three R's have broadened to encompass the three A's- Academics, Arts and Athletics. There are so many little lessons that can be Learnt on the sports field and just because you do not end up writing a test on it does not mean you do no inculcate valuable lessons. In order for a student to mature and grow in life positively it in important they educate themselves apart from the classroom. They say where focus goes energy flows, and thus kids should indulge in school sports as it gives them a sense of belonging and accomplishment when the game is played well. They learn to be a apart of team, share success and failure, discover the true value of friendship, mutual respect, cooperation, how to set goals, plan and strategize well. The score never interested me, only the game did!
