Camilla Davis has just discovered her abilities, but is she willing to accept her new role and pursue the cause of the mysterious, world-wide power failure?

In this young adult novel, Cami Davis, alongside her twin brother, Oliver, are attending their first year at Gates Academy, a school for Elites, or people with uncommon abilities. In the midst of having to keep up with her training, Cami learns that she is somehow linked to the number of "power shortages" happening around the globe. Not willing to let everyone lose their abilities, Cami and Oliver team up with a few friends to figure out just what is going on and why Cami is tied to all of it.

With characters that are personable and are easy to connect with, this novel is a fun read and is hard to put down. This fast-paced story will have you thinking you know what's coming next, and then send you for a complete loop.

The Pact Beyond Worlds

11 bab Bersambung

Oliver and Max, two ordinary boys, are pulled into a world shaped by the remnants of gods and demigods, where every step forward reveals heavier truths. What begins as a journey through the Trials of Mind and Body quickly turns into something far greater-they discover Oliver carries the unstable blood of a demigod tied to water, while Max inherits the forbidden legacy of the Weaver, a being so feared even gods once trembled before him. As they struggle to survive training, evade betrayal, and understand their powers, the boys are forced to confront the hidden war between loyal and betrayer demigods, uncovering ruins, secrets, and weapons of unimaginable power. Their bond is tested against divine schemes, ancient enemies, and the weight of destinies they never asked for, but cannot escape. The wow factor of the book is how it takes two ordinary boys, Oliver and Max, and throws them into a world far bigger than themselves-filled with gods, demi gods, forbidden powers, and secrets about their own bloodlines. What makes it stand out is the mix of epic battles and cosmic mysteries with the simple, human struggles of fear, friendship, and survival. The story keeps you hooked by always making you wonder whether the boys' powers will save them, destroy them, or change the fate of the universe itself. I will now be posting this to Royal Road.
