Iva is a Dryad, she lives and breathes the forest. She knows where all the good hiding places are and she knows how to take care of the forest. But she is afraid of the forest as well, she has heard the stories of how the Nymphs are disappearing.
Iva’s mother-Airlea-was taken when she was just a child. As much as Iva wants to find her mother, she doesn’t know where to begin looking. The God Pan will not help her and her fellow sister Nymphs refuse to set foot out of the forest.
Then Iva herself gets kidnapped, she finds herself face to face with a handsome man. They call themselves ‘the Guard’, they are a race of God-like creatures with handsome faces and possessive natures. These creatures have what humans would call ‘mates’, they call them ‘Soul Holders’.
Iva finds herself mated to one of these creatures, but she still has to find her mother. Will she escape? Will her mate come after her if she does?
