Life was always different for Knox, then again, so was the world. Lots have changed, born into a human world knowing all about the supernatural world, humans were forbidden to interact with them. She was always on her own, tying to pass classes and help her drunk father keep the house over their heads she thought her life was a mess. Things were about to get worse, chosen by a supernatural "biter" which chooses humans to become one of them. She is forced to go to the supernatural academy to live the rest of her life as a supernatural and survive. Until she is noticed by even the strongest supernaturals, she realizes that she was given a gift and that this new life might be the start of a new prophecy and a new world.

In between dealing with the secrets and dynamics of being a werewolf, the totally not cliche grudge between the vamps and werewolves, being the potential next murder victim of a mysterious and possibly non-human killer, and a hottie with fangs that she sometimes kind of wanted to make out with and other times wanted to rip his throat out, Lila was definitely going to have a totally normal, average life in this new town.Complete
