Night Dantas wakes up in her apartment in London completely confused, terrified of sunlight and all the things that she used to love in the city. Before that she only remembered she was drunk in a pub and a voice of a man that promised her she would feel again and she would meet her tears she could never cry...
Since then she can't face the sun, the artificial sounds and the combination of smells of the city got her disturbed, but she also felt capable of things she never could.
Trying to run away from pain, Night went back to her roots in Portugal, to find out some peace. One year after Night came back to the portuguese village of Gondar, she keeps doomed to an existence of moonlight and a silent sadness where the woods are her night home. She only feels comfort there but she isn't the only sinister creature rounding the woods.
With the help of her best friend Lili and José, the man madly in love with her, she will face her demons and will learn she can be loved even if she only has the night to offer.
A first part of a romance with some science fiction in between (second part will start soon to be written). Hope you enjoy this story! :)
(P.S.: This first part is finished and totally edited. I guess it's not perfect because English is not my first language, so any tip you dear readers want to add about any english errors you see in this story, it will be well appreciated :D )

"Are you coming to bed firefly?" He says to me laying his hands over my waist joining me in looking over the city. "I want to look out for a little longer if that is alright?" He says confidently and walks away leaving my waist cold something for which I am grateful. Especially when my mind burns with other more dangerous thoughts. The warmth that forever lingers in the air, never burning the skin, but always reminding about what is around us. I force air into my lungs feeling the unexpected warmth fill me. He stands in the room watching me even though he said he was getting ready for bed. He is worried about me, about me jumping. I have contemplated it I will admit, but he would stop me before I fell even two feet. I was stuck, and no one could save me. Not even myself, my fucking weak self. His presence is demanding no matter where we are, but right now I could sense everything about him, and I try to suppress the unwanted feelings that curl right under my skin. "Firefly? About done?" He calls out and I release my hand from the guard rail not realizing that as I looked at the lights that covered the shining city with the falling fire in the background that my subconscious was thinking about how nice it would be... how relieving it would be... to just fall.
