"YOU CANNOT DEFEAT ME!" Gaea cried out as her form crumbled and reformed "I am ETERNAL!"
"Eternally annoying!" Leo called out as Festus brought the three demigods and Gaea higher into the air. Piper looked at Jason intensely with her kaleidoscopic eyes. "I need to get closer, Jason." He looked at her, concerned.
"But Piper, the flames, the shrapnel-"
"Jason." she said urgently "I know." Hesitantly, he moved in closer for Piper to do as she needed to, but everything was moving so fast, it was hard to stay in one place. He was so focused on making sure they didn't get hit by the debris, he barely heard Leo call out his name, by the time he went to react, it was too late and the large hand of Gaea swatted him down like a fly. His grip on Piper loosened.
"Piper!" He shouted as she dropped, catching just in time to hold onto Gaea. He only had time to reach out for her before being swooped up by the dragon's claw. "Jason!" He saw Leo call him again. "We have to let her do this herself!" He stole one last glance at Piper, who's charmspeak was already working on the Earth goddess. He looked back at his friend and nodded. "Right." He climbed up onto the dragon's back before hearing Piper yell out her last three words "You. Need. SLEEP!" It didn't seem like a lot, but it was enough to make the goddess go limp.

"C'mon Percy. Imagine how you'll look." Hazel teased. "*sniffle* How nice of Piper." Connor said. "Guys," Jason cut. "Tomorrow is the first day of school. If Percy is--" "We know right. But... how will we convince him?" Frank asked. "HECATE!" Hazel and Reyna said, in unison. "I can also charmspeak!" Piper interrupted. "Reyna?" Hazel questioned. "Yeah?" Reyna replied. "Hecate has that potion right?" "Yes, she has. The bad boy potion." "And I'm supposed to drink that?" I startled. It was all against my will. "Let's get the potion first." Annabeth insisted. Hazel and Reyna stood up and walked then they vanished. After the next minute, They came back with a blood colored potion. "Hecate said this will make it work when you wake up tomorrow." Hazel said. They made me drink the potion. It made me a little tipsy, but, the hallucinations subsided to a stop. After that, everyone went to their rooms and slept. Wonder what I'll be tomorrow.... Percy was still too far away to hear, to know what was happening, and likely he wouldn't care. Annabeth's breath caught in her throat and the crowd faded, the voices just white noise. There was only Percy, his hair shaggy and swept to the side, his mouth drawn up in his troublemaker smile. Her body ached to return to him, he was so close. But if she was right, that would be a deadly mistake. Annabeth turned back to Jason. "You sold us out didn't you." "There's only one way to end the schism, Annabeth," Jason said. His remaining eye gleamed. "The Greeks must be wiped out." Reyna raised her hand. "Seize them." "Jason!" Piper cried as two legionaries grabbed her arms. "How could you!" Annabeth grit her teeth but didn't struggle. They couldn't win this fight. And the worst part? She totally saw it coming. This is an au where Jason turns the Greeks over to the Romans instead of cooperating, and the resulting conflict ensues. Can the Greeks and Romans work together? Or will they both be torn apart in the end. 'Glancing to her left, feeling the seat next to her shifting, Persephone's eyes locked onto the side profile of a boy. Black, curly hair, pointed ears, tongue sticking out in concentration of whatever he was fiddling with in his hands. Feeling her gaze, he turned to her, seeing her awake and grinned. His grin immediately told Persephone that the little Latino was not to be trusted with anything sharp or pointy or potentially dangerous. - "Child of lightening, beware the earth, The giants' revenge the eight shall birth, The forge and the dove shall break the cage, And death unleash through Hera's rage, Death shall meet her enemy soon, The curse she lands may be her doom." - Leo saw the fear in her eyes, as she stared at him. His heart stopped, wanting nothing more than to comfort her, but knowing they didn't have the time for it. "Come on, stay close to me, you'll be fine." He told her, pulling her up, wrapping a hand around her wrist and sprinting off in the direction of the warehouse. - "I wish someone looked at me the way Jason looks at Piper." She muttered to herself, not meaning for Leo to hear. He furrowed his eyebrows. Persephone loved seeing the son of Hephaestus happy, but this was the complete opposite. His expression was crestfallen, eyes pained. He entwined her fingers with his, clutching her hand tightly. A stray tear fell.
