Teaching Mr. Cooper

Jezzy Collins is 17 years old and knows what she wants in life. With a mother in rehab and a father long gone after a fatal car accident, Jezzy struggles to keep her and her 7 year old sister together. Recently emancipated, Jezzy goes to high school during the day and works evenings and weekends, trying to save enough money. Once she turns 18, she can apply for custody of her sister.

She didn't have time for boyfriends or love, but one day she meets a man who takes an interest in her and everything begins to change.

Daniel Cooper has been teaching highschool for a few years. At 30 years old he is just starting to learn what matters most in life. Still carrying emotional baggage from his past, he has a chance encounter with someone who makes him see life differently.

This story is PG13. And although Jezzy is 17 at the beginning of the story, nothing illegal happens while she is a minor. (Ok, I think she has a glass of alcohol with a friend.)
