I wrote this poem after me an my dad got into it and he tried to choke me and said he never wanted a daughter never wanted me. my dad is racist homophobic I think he's bipolar. he threaten to break my neck and if I every became gay he would kill me I'm supposed to grow up strong smart and straight. he says there is something mentally wrong with gay people that they need help. I wonder what will happen if I ever tell him I'm bi. um .. yea OK . my first time publishing 🤷🏾♀️

It's been so many years and my dad continues to hurt me daily. How long can I continue to live like this before it all comes to an end. It hurts and I'm tired. Sometimes I wish someone was here to swoop in and save me from my misery. Anything is better than this. . . . . . I apologize, this story was taken off wattpad for whatever reason. I tried getting help from online workers but none replied and I couldn't get it back. I'm just going to reupload. The reason why it was taken off it beyond me. Please give it some love, I broke down like crazy when it disappeared because it was my most popular story and I had worked incredibly hard on it only for it to go poof.

To Be Broken
What does it mean to be broken? (I wrote this poem myself) ______________________________ Why be sad? When no one knows how bad You feel your Pain makes you sore. Why be mad? When no one can tell How hard you fell How it hurts MORE than a tad. Why be happy? Be like all those sappy People pretending to be What they want you to see. Why be frightened? Senses heightened Screaming, As sick people are beaming. Why be tired? When no one knows How your wired How you grow. Why be honest? When all known is a broken promise When no one believes you Even if what you say is true. Why hurt? When no one feels your pain When no one's ever alert When you never feel sane. Why pretend? Hurt Beyond Repair.
Hurt and frightened and no where to turn except for my journal.
