Though Sorrel Parker may be nicknamed Adler Heights's "heartbreaker" (a result of an unfortunate childhood), her life is relatively normal. Wake up, eat, go to school, sleep. And...repeat. But her world is turned upside down as a mysterious stranger named Marco with unusually good Italian model looks enters her life.
Marco is foreign to everything that Sorrel knows, from his slight smirk to the scars on his back. As she gets closer to him, she is thrown into his world- the world of demons, fallen angels and Shadowhunters. She begins to discover a past that she never knew she had, just as the Hunters come to the realization that Sorrel is perhaps not human...and perhaps she not even your every day angel.
