Ricky wakes up to a cold hard ground and no memory of how she got there. Her world is turned upside down in the matter of seconds when she is told she is a Meta. Her life revolved around being normal and hating Metas. She is laying in cell is forced to participate in a battle to the death with he cell mate.
When a new threat emerges to threaten the world, her and her cell mate have to find a way to escape, inform the Meta Elite, and save the world. Before the world fades away right in front of her.
Taking place half a year after the events in "Rise of the Phoenix", our new hero must learn to control her emotions and decide on a side. Meta or Human. Life or Death. Her life or millions of others.

In the not-so-distant future evolved humans emerged. Those who had powers that broke conventional laws of physics, chemistry, and biology were dubbed E.H.s (evolved humans); it was wondrous for a time. Of course if there was power to be used there would be those who misuse. While Adlet and Jenna intend on doing this by the books, their unsavory past with two of String's captains may muddy their judgement, or, more accurately, it already has. As String's ambitions grow beyond just controlling the city's underbelly Adlet and Jenna are forced to take action with an ally he did not desire. While prejudice against E.H.s reaches it's peak because of a horrific tragedy, the Soldiers of the New World waste no time to expand their reach and rally for their cause of taking over the city. Adlet goes to the edge of sacrificing everything and back again. On the way, betrayal awaits at every corner. With the boys of the Justice League out, Diana Prince, also known as Wonder Woman, is prepared to go into battle and serve justice. "Take the small one, she isn't human." Another officer came over and started to take her from my arms. She let go in shock but I grabbed her arm and I tugged back but I didn't want to hurt her. "No!" I yelled ...................... "Katerina!" She yelled "Anna!" I screamed I screamed her name as I woke up covered in sweat, I was panting and out of breath. I sat up and looked all around me. My room was dark and all that was on was my radio. I had this dream almost every night since I was taken away from Anna. This dream was real, it did happen. As you know now I am not fully human, I was not created a normal way. I was created and I am a monster...... Katerina (Kat) isn't normal but only she knows that. After she was taken away she decided to live her foster life as a shadow but sadly that doesn't work as she bounces from foster family to foster family, from school to school, and from town to town. She is constantly expelled from schools and gets into fights. After a while everything gets the best of her. After moving with a new foster family and she goes to a new school, she realizes that maybe she is not alone. She struggles with who she wants to be and who she really is, as she tries to find out how many more of her kind exist without blowing her coverComplete

It didn't matter if the child was five or eighteen; they'd take them and give them the same horrible treatment. Morgan was hunted and taken. Rylie was not. Morgan Carter was put in the camps and wasn't able to come out the same way she came in. She became their pet telekinetic/assassin, ready to kill and torture without hesitation and knew how to. She forgot her old life, including her name. Rylie Garner paraded as Light Glider around his city-their own personal superhero-escaping being caught with the help of his friends while trying to find his little supernatural sister, who was taken. I should be dead. At least, that's what the government officials told me in the super-secret lab where I woke up strapped to a mattress in a windowless room...Sound problematic to anyone else? Like I told the psychos experimenting on me, I've got zero clue how I got my new powers, but I'm sure-as-shit not going to let them turn me into a deadly weapon (or squeeze me into a spangly jumpsuit).
