"A few months ago I was nobody in the world, now I'm the one saving."

Ricky wakes up to a cold hard ground and no memory of how she got there. Her world is turned upside down in the matter of seconds when she is told she is a Meta. Her life revolved around being normal and hating Metas. She is laying in cell is forced to participate in a battle to the death with he cell mate. 

When a new threat emerges to threaten the world, her and her cell mate have to find a way to escape, inform the Meta Elite, and save the world. Before the world fades away right in front of her. 

Taking place half a year after the events in "Rise of the Phoenix", our new hero must learn to control her emotions and decide on a side. Meta or Human. Life or Death. Her life or millions of others.All Rights Reserved

And during their interrogation discover that Morgan's mostly useless superpower (a near useless summoning ability) has the potential to be Alex's undoing. Literally. For an S tier like Alex death is hardly permanent, but he comes back to a very changed world. One that both has moved on from him and still feels the scars from the aftermath of his death. And as for Morgan? They are barely recognisable from the light-hearted friend Alex left behind.

While prejudice against E.H.s reaches it's peak because of a horrific tragedy, the Soldiers of the New World waste no time to expand their reach and rally for their cause of taking over the city.
