Melissa was chosen to be in the 80th Annual Hunger Games. Her parents Katniss and Peeta Everdeen had been locked inside their own house for 5 years. When the five years was over, they were able to walk amongst the village, but they still couldn't go in the woods or anything. Melissa had a friend named Annie. She lived her Annie and her family. Melissa had to keep her identity to avoid being arrested. Join Melissa on her journey through the hunger games, hopefully not being her last.
Okay I promise the book is better than the description.
And before anyone gets mad or confused, the last hunger games movie hadn't come out yet or I hadn't read so I didn't know that they ended the hunger games. This is just a fiction that I made up for a story.

When I was eleven. My whole world changed. Katniss' dad died in a mining accident. You think it wouldn't affect me but I loved him just as much as Katniss did.
