My interpreter. Having him around only reminds me of what happened- only reminds me that five months ago, I could hear. That five months ago I could have a normal conversation with people. That five months ago I had friends. They all left you know, after I became deaf. I was part of the popular crowd, I wasn't the 'queen bee', but I was part of them. They completely left me after what happened. _____________________________ Scarlett is in her senior year, ready to leave the educational hell hole. She's so desperate to leave the school, where people give her an odd eye, wondering why she goes to a hearing school- when she's deaf. She only goes because she wants to feel normal, and being in a school filled with people like her, would not make her feel at ease. She takes life one day at a time; all alone. She refuses to let people in- fearing that she's just going to be a nuisance to them. But things start to change, when she realizes she can't handle being alone, she can't handle being treated the way she is, and that she can't handle living like she has.

(Inspired by my own life story, well not completely) Senior year of high school is already starting off well for Tanner Gray, he's got his whole life planned out, and he can't wait to share it with his best friend and girlfriend. That is until he meets Autumn Blanchard, a shy and mysterious outcast he's known since Freshman year. When he finally talks to her, he learns the reason behind her odd behavior, she's diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome. Because of her disability, Autumn couldn't imagine a popular guy like Tanner to be talking to her, thinking it's part of a joke. But when the opposite pair start spending time together, Tanner starts to see a whole new side of Autumn, and at the same time, the two grow closer to each other. But being an Aspie is not easy for Autumn, all she wants is to be normal, but she knows she can't. She has to suffer from her disability every day, while at the same time dealing with the people who see her as the odd one out. But Tanner isn't going to let that happen, he will do anything to give Autumn the Senior year she deserves. This is no normal romantic story, it's different, it's unique. (Rated Mature for language)
