Dave Champion was an ex-con from a rural New Hampshire town who vehemently strived to overcome the stigma of his nine-year imprisonment for a major crime he committed when he was in his twenties. Having done his time, he felt he was ready to move on in life. 

His romantic relationships started out on a positive note; however, when he was feeling comfortable with each new partner, he slipped into a dark abyss, deeper than a black hole. When confronted with the loss of his current relationship, he made yet another disastrous choice and was arrested for DUI. 

Rather than face more years in prison, he decided to run which became the absolute worst choice he made, up to this point in time at least. His fleeing brought him to Easton, Pennsylvania, to the home of his sister and her boyfriend. Unsuccessful at gainful employment, he accepted whatever jobs were offered to him. When that failed, he decided to take a friend up on an offer to meet a woman, someone who would be wowed by his appearance and was financially able to support him. 

This relationship started off well and in an effort to start with a clean slate, he decided to tell his new woman, Jean, about his past. Not received very well, this revelation caused the rocky road to begin-like an avalanche. Angry at himself and resenting his honesty, he slowly regressed back to his addiction and prison mentality. Drinking and drugging always made him feel at his best and no one was going to get in his way this time. 

Rather than follow rules, he preferred to run yet once more, this time back to his roots in New Hampshire. Being denied a place to stay by his parents, he connected with a former girlfriend. Eventually, Sally, his former girlfriend with whom he was currently living, grew tired of supporting him and told him so. In a moment of rage for not getting what he felt he was entitled to - more drugs and alcohol, he strangled and murdered her.All Rights Reserved
