The spell echoed around the cave, making the mangled cat shrink under the knotted table and the bats fly out into the dark night. The Witch repeated the spell until her face glowed a ghostly white, her thin eyelids slowly closing. The cat hissed and the witches eyes flew open revealing a sight so unnerving grown men cringe at the tale. Some describe her eyes darker then the night sky, other simply say they were colder then the Antarctic. But the most accurate description was that of the town fool. The crazy lady that lived all alone told them her eyes were smothered in darkness, filled with hatred and rage, turning her eyes blacker then her heart. 
But the old witches story was just that, a story. Meant to scare little children into eating there greens.  No one believed it, someone long ago just made it up, surely it wasn't real... was it?

Something mixed between a growl and a purr escaped him. It vibrated deeply from his chest. I thought he would kiss me but he didn't. His lips hovered over mine before they softly traced my cheek. The banging starts again but this time a lot louder. I can hear the girls screaming up stairs. I pick up my phone and dial 911. "Hello this is 911 what's your emergency?" Her teeth is wrapped around my neck and she sinks them in. I try to scream but it's hard to. At first it hurts but now the pain no longer exists.
