It was dark and gloomy. I started to shake and I saw nothing but the glowing of eyes. I stared at them for a long time. Was it my best friend? Was I dreaming? I finally got the strength to stand. The shadow wolf growled and it quickly lunged forward, with teeth bared, in a blur.

Sono stata a quel momento in mezzo ai detriti per un sacco di tempo. Un tempo che chiamerei indefinito per quanto eterno. Non ero ferita fisicamente, era come se fossi un puntino circondato da mille pezzi importanti della mia vita, ma tutti travolti dalle macerie. Mentre io ero lì, ferma, immobile, con solo qualche graffio e il cuore in frantumi, proprio come il mio intero mondo. Ho imparato a trovare un modo per non sentirmi sopraffata dalle macerie che mi circondavano. Molto spesso ho pensato di meritarmelo questo inferno, per essere qui, viva. Non ho mancato di chiedermi il perché di tutto questo. Perché sono viva? Perché devo provare queste emozioni? Perché io? Perché da sola? Mi sono domandata un sacco di perché in tutto quel tempo intrappolata in mezzo a quelle rovine, l'unica cosa che volevo era uscirne. L'unica cosa che chiedevo era almeno uno spiraglio di luce.
