On April 11th 2013, Rachel Valentin was driving to a concert with her older brother Christopher for her 14th birthday party. At exactly 12:36 am, on their way back home from the concert, a black Chevrolet car collided head on with the Valentin's car. At 12:40, Christopher Valentin died due to head trauma. At 12:48,  police and medical vehicles arrived at the scene, at 12:50 Rachel's parents got a phone call telling them that their oldest son was dead and their troubled daughter was close to death. At 1:00, Rachel arrived at the Albuquerque Emergency Hospital with severe head trauma. And at 1:10 Rachel's brain waves went flat, for a split second she was by all means dead. But, at 1:11 Rachel's brain, with help from modern medication or just a miracle, gained back brain waves putting young Rachel into a coma.
After that everything changed.
