When Claire hears the rumor that her favorite book The Mirror is based on a true story, Claire and her friends investigate. They end up meeting the author Hope Longing and finding out the truth when a magical glowing light comes from a mirror. Claire, and three of her friends, end up getting much more than that, when they're sucked through the mirror and enter the world of Guya. Anthrax, the villain from the previous book, is able to kidnap Hope with plans to destroy Guya underway. With the only person who can stop him in his grasp, victory looks closer than ever. It's up to Claire and her friends, with the help of the rebel group, to save the girl from Guya's prophecy, Hope, and stop Anthrax. But can they do it in time to save the world of Guya?
