**A futuristic retelling of Sleeping Beauty**

In 3016 the dying Earth was no longer hospitable to humans and they looked to the stars, searching for a new home. Many planets were found, few were found to be able to hold life.

However planetary beings weren't the only things humans found. Intelligent beings were also introduced, some were hostile, others friendly. Some humans even  mated with friendly aliens that were similar in physical structure. Yet one race, the Loküvma, despised humankind. With their weapons they attacked a human world, Earth-17.

During the war between with Loküvma a child was born to a royal family the governed the world. Fearing for their daughter they sent her to a foreign world to be protected from the race. Two men and one woman, loyal to the crown, were sent to care for their daughter were she was to grow until she came of age and was able to be married to her promised mate.
