"I've put the kettle on." Max mumbled. He had been tired ever since we got back from hospital. I was still getting to grips with the new house and area we lived in. I just chuckled at him and smiled. "I missed you, you know. Hospital rooms are lonely, especially if you have to share one with Will - he's not great company." I replied. His statement didn't even need a reply but I felt like I needed to say something. Max had done so much for me and been so supportive all the time I was at hospital and I really appreciated that. It's amazing how you can see who really loves you and who doesn't. "Hm. Yeah," he looked up at me, his green eyes twinkling under the kitchen lights, "well I could get used to it here without you." He teased. He was always so sarcastic to me. "Oh I see, well then I might as well go and live with Will now then, looks like he'll be better company than you my friend." I joked back. We were always teasing each other and winding each other up. But that's why we loved one another. - - - - - Bells is an 18 year old student from southern England, ready to leave school in summer and study to become a lawyer. An angel and a rebel. A scholarship girl and a playgirl. When their worlds collide, sparks fly-and nothing will ever be the same. When Enid Jones-straight-A student and the perfect Islamic daughter-earns a scholarship to the prestigious Montrose Academy, she believes her life is finally falling into place. Her plan is simple: keep her head down, ace her classes, secure a scholarship to Yale, work a side job, and one day gain full custody of her younger sister from their abusive father. But trouble has other plans for Enid... and its name is Olivia Grayson. Carefree, rebellious, and notorious for breaking hearts, Olivia is Montrose Academy's golden girl. With her comes the infamous Golden Four, and a whirlwind of chaos Enid wants no part of. At least, that's what she tells herself. Because Olivia isn't just interested in Enid-she's made it her mission to strip away the saintly image everyone sees and uncover the fire hidden beneath. But what if it's Olivia's carefully crafted "bad girl" façade that begins to crumble first... all because of a certain brunette who was never supposed to matter? ๑ "After what you and your stupid friends did to me, isn't it enough? Do you really have to rub it in my face?" I snapped, my voice shaking with fury. Olivia just smirked, stepping closer until her warm minty breath fanned against my lips. My pulse went wild, betraying me. "I'm only just getting started, angel," she whispered in that husky voice of hers. "And I'll stop... the moment I hear you moan my name." ๑ An angel and a rebel. A scholarship girl and a playgirl. Can love survive when it's least expected-or will it destroy them both?
