There's a list of things he doesn't understand, such as why he can't leave the house after 6pm or why his mother was frantic to cover his hair when they went on family outings. He even wondered why he was pulled out of school after being neglected by all of his teachers. He just wasn't aware that he was a menace, a creative mind with too much power that was being brought into a ring of public shame. He was a Diff. Frank Iero, on the other hand, was a Same. He was a role model, the apple of his mothers eye and the ideal teenager that anyone could ever ask for. Yet, even the most perfect seeming person could have so many secrets that needed to be kept from the people like him. Frank's little secret just happened to be the fact that Gerard Way infatuated him.

Donna and Donald went through a long and horrible divorce, leaving their Children; Gerard and Mikey to pick between parents. Gerard stayed with mom and Mikey went with dad. After about a year, Donna gets a new boyfriend and they get married, leaving Gerard with a new step-brother, much to his despise. But then, Donna gets a horrible phone call one night from the police saying that Frank (Frank's dad) was in an accident and unfortunately didn't make it. She went under extreme depression leaving the two boys with a mother (or step-mother) that was somewhat unstable. So with a mother who was always crying and wallowing in self-pity, will the two boys actually suck it up and talk to each other when there is no one else? And maybe they get too friendly with each other...

Gerard way and Frank Iero have always passed each other in the hallway but never spoke a word to one another. They are both alike in many ways. Both loners who feel like they don't quite belong. Frank mostly spends his days depressed and alone. The occasional hurtful remarks from his fellow classmates and father wearing him down. Frank's family issues seem to swallow him hole which is mainly why he feels like throwing in the towel... permanently. Gerard lives to protect those he cares about. Though, he has a bit of an edgy attitude most people learn to respect. There's more to Gerard than what the outside shows. His brother Mikey and best friend Ray know glimpses of how he really feels, and how complications from the past really fuck with his behavior. But, their differences don't keep them apart considering these strangers are forced into each other's lives when Gerard finds Frank attempting to commit suicide. Can Gerard help Frank without revealing his own problems and emotions or will they become too much to bare? *Trigger warning *Still editing mistakes( I'm fully aware my grammar sucks) *also warning this is terribly written. Frank's lost his parents when he was sixteen and was now a nineteen year old who had to grow up way too fast. He was still struggling to find a job that didn't leave him struggling for money at the end of each month, not only for his sake but also his eight year old sister, Diana. Gerard was a young famous artist. No one knew anything about him really except that he was an arrogant rich hermit who had no interest in interacting with anyone beyond selling them his paintings.

Frank's parents died over a year ago which has caused him to spiral into a big heat of depression. He's angry, tired, and doesn't care. Gerard is tired of seeing his friend like this, so he hires him an at-home therapist. She's happy, sweet, and very optimistic. It's basically an odd couple situation. ~no I am not romanticizing depression, I am trying very hard not to do that, Frank just happens to be depressed, she won't be "curing him" with kisses or whatever, that's unrealistic, she's there to help him through this :) With that being said, if any of you guys need someone to talk to, I'm here. The police reckoned that moving away, to rural New Jersey with his grandparents would help him cope with the loss, but even Frank knew that they couldn't be more than wrong, because despite the dull sleepy atmosphere of the town, there was something unidentifiable yet impossibly unnerving about the place, and really, perhaps was safer in his parents home than he ever was here. And there's something physically wrong too - a figure that lurks in the smoke, fog, and shadows - a silhouette the deepest black he'd ever seen, the kind that brought an unsettling feeling to Frank's stomach, and really Frank's wasn't one to be overly twitchy about things like this, but from the moment he first met him, he could never shake the feeling that the figure was always following him. And perhaps, he was. (Vampire!Gerard)
