"Zee! Zee!" Tripping over my own feet, I fight to run back to the fire pit. "Z-Zee!"

His hands grab a hold of my shoulder, stopping my sprint across the abandoned field. "Matt! What is it? What happened!?"

"De-Demon... Woods..." I could feel my body shake as sobs took over and tears freely rolled down my cheeks. His grip around my shoulders and waist got tighter as he jumped into the sky, wings catching the midnight wind, lifting both of us above the tree's. 

"We need to find somewhere safe for the night..." He whispered to me, taking off in a direction opposite of the woods. 

"W-Who.. Who was that?" I somewhat manage to regain my ability to speak clearly.

"I don't know, Matt, but we're going to be okay. Just as long as we get away from here..."

"Zee-Zee?"

"Yes, Mattie?"

"What's going to happen to us?"

"Well Matt, I'm not entirely sure."
