Waking up in a hospital room with a beautifully mysterious stranger sitting beside her wasn't what Sawyer always imagined.

Having no recollection the memories before the accident, she lives her life according to what the man says.

Only she doesn't know whether to believe him or not.

Considering, well, he "claims" to be her husband.

If someone told me months ago that I’d be caught in that situation, I would have laughed in their face. I remember every single second of every single memory flashing through my brain like a slideshow on repeat. It hurts to think about all the lies and torture and pain and humiliation I’ve gone through to be where I’m at now.
It doesn’t matter that the one person I went to the most is gone, and that he lied to me, and that he loved me for my entire being rather than my physical features.
But, that one single lie knocked me out of the game.
It wasn’t even her who fucked me up.
     It was him.
