Romance
Introducing the Queen of Clumsiness herself, Adeline Cayman. She's the single most intelligent person in her school, and people actually like her for that. With two best friends, Lola and Chloe, at her side, a perfectly good chance at college, and a cozy yet inexpensive apartment calling her name right near her house, life was looking good. No curveball had been thrown and cheers to that. I guess I spoke a little too soon because suddenly Adeline's moving to Miami, Florida, because of her mom's job. The scenery may have been beautiful, but the people there...not so much. First day at school Adeline seems to summon all the bad luck in the world. Literally, she first realized the person she covered with food was her neighbor and he was the Bridgeway High's feared bad boy. Whatever the man upstairs had planned was either going to be a step beyond lovely or a step beyond heartbreaking. Meet the King of Breaking the Rules (and not to mention hearts) himself, Thorne. His first name, people say, is only known by three people in the world: his mom and two sisters. The mystery of his whole persona compared to his twin sister Michelle's is quite odd, yet it keeps everyone begging for hints and clues of what made him bad boy. The whole mystery, however, doesn't keep him from having a fling every week and ruining innocent school reputations like Adeline's. His frustrating, cocky attitude both annoys and frightens Adeline. She just wants to keep away from him. That's not the easiest thing in the world because Adeline lives next door to him. Plus, to make matters more interesting, their widows are perfectly aligned with each other's. Whatever the man upstairs has planned for Adeline will definitely include Thorne and his twin sister. A twisted and confusing story about innocent young love and maybe a sprinkle of heartbreak and a lot of the feels. WARNING: Deals with social anxiety and panic attacks a couple times.

"What are you doing here?" I ask but it comes out as a sob. I don't want him, or anyone for that matter, to see me like this. I'm a wreck. Wyatt doesn't seem to mind though. He softly brushes the remaining tears from my face with his thumb. "I saw you run out of the canteen, green eyes. I couldn't just leave you here to cry because that would go against the tutor code." "Tutor code?" I ask, puzzled. "Yes, the tutor code. It states that a student must make sure his tutor is never upset or crying and if he does ever find her like this it's his job to make her smile at any cost," he tells me. "You just made that up." "Maybe I did but that doesn't matter. Come on," he says, extending his hand out to me. "Where are we going?" "You'll see." ~*~*~ Aurora is a normal seventeen year old, happy and content with life. However, this all changes the day her boyfriend of two years, James, breaks up with her. Naturally, she's crushed. The icing on the cake is why he did it. Apparently she's 'too boring'. Determined to prove him wrong, she strikes a deal with the school's notorious bad boy, Wyatt King. She'll tutor him in maths if he teaches her to be reckless, fearless and careless. Can Aurora overcome the odds and do what she planned? Or perhaps someone will stop her on her mission to win over James. Maybe this isn't as easy as she thought it would be. Maybe she takes things a little too far. And just maybe making a deal with the bad boy isn't such a smart idea. ~*~*~ *contains mature language* #9 in high school 20/02/19 #1 in young love 14/03/19 #2 in chicklit 27/03/19 #1 in heartbreak 08/04/19 #21 in teenfiction 26/08/20 #10 in romance 26/08/20 #1 in bad boy 02/04/21
