Promise Kept
Her family gave shelter to a band of weary travelers. A meal by the fire, a kindness freely given - nothing more. But five years later, Thorin Oakenshield remembers. With Erebor reclaimed and his crown secure, the King Under the Mountain seeks to repay a debt long left unsettled. Yet when he returns to the farmstead, he finds not a warm hearth but ruin - and the woman who once caught his eye standing alone among the ashes of her family's sacrifice. What begins as honor quickly becomes something deeper: laughter breaking through grief, quarrels sparking into kisses, and two stubborn souls learning to fight not against one another, but for each other. As shadows stir once more and Erebor itself calls him home, Thorin must decide if love can be more enduring than stone - and if he dares to claim not just a kingdom, but the heart that has been his all along. A tale of memory, fire, and fate - where debts are paid not in gold, but in love and when love blooms promise is kept.Lengkap
The Shadows Beneath the Mountain || Thorin Oakenshield
Born of darkness. Forged in fire. Bound by fate. Diana Vanserra is an outcast; half human, half-elf, and the last of the Nyxarian line, a bloodline feared for its shadow-wielding power. Once a princess of a hidden mountain realm, her world was shattered when Azog the Defiler slaughtered her kin under Sauron's command and enslaved her for years. Now free, she's become a deadly force of vengeance, carving her way through Middle-earth in pursuit of justice. When Gandalf witnesses her fury firsthand, he offers her a new path: join a dwarven prince named Thorin Oakenshield and a Hobbit burglar on a quest to reclaim Erebor from the dragon Smaug. Reluctantly, Diana agrees, but from the moment she meets Thorin, the two are fire and flint. Prideful, headstrong, and unyielding, they clash at every turn. Yet as the journey grows darker and the stakes rise, so too does the bond between them, built not on trust; but on shared scars, buried pain, and a slow-burning desire that neither dares to admit. In a world at war, love is the most dangerous shadow of all. - All Rights Reserved © Cover made by yours truly x I do not own any of Tolkien's marvellous creations, characters or the original plot of The Hobbit. "Someday you will return home too." Reluctantly, she opened one of the heavy wooden chests. The lid creaked loudly as it flipped back. A dusty cloak. Coins. Letters. Rusty nails. At least a few useful things. She threw the cloak over her shoulders, put the money in her pockets and disappeared outside. Was it worth it? What was still anything worth...? Her hand slid into her leather doublet. She felt something ... soft, very small in her hand. Slowly she pulled it out and eyed it. The little crushed blue flower. Forget-Me-Not.
