The Aviants

In a forest where no human can reach, there is a pack of wolves. These aren't ordinary wolves; these are the Aviants. When pups come of age, they are sent out on a hunt. They must kill a bird, but it must be respectfully and with a pure heart or desire. Once this is done, they are granted wings of the bird. It is then, when they become the greatest warriors of the pack: The Aviants. The pack is a place where no wings means death.
