Hallie Ewing and Brandon Smith have spent their entire childhood together. They are inseparable as children which also brings both of their parents closer together too. However, the two are unexpectedly torn apart by their beloved families when events take a turn for the worse as a horrific accident rocks the world of both families. Due to this tragedy, both families share nothing but pure hatred for one another and are at loggerheads for years, which even encourages the Smith family to finally move town.
