Sometimes when I dream, I can feel myself in other places. It's like I'm there, but I know I'm not. I don't know how else to describe it. it's a reoccurring thing. Some people say that it's all in my head. I'm imagining it. And they're right. It is what I imagine.

Everytime I sleep, I feel like I am carried away to another place. I see things and know things that no one else does....

And the worse part...is that I can never forget.

Our minds are an enigma: On this road we call life, we learn many things. Experiences, chosen by many, and yet lived uniquely through each of our own eyes. These experiences mold us subtly and steadily. Over time, we mature into the beings we are today. Whether they have been for good or for bad, these experiences are an undeniable part of us as we live and breathe. Those experiences, those past blessings, those past mistakes lead us to learn more about the world. We learn to interpret nature and the many physical experiences we have day by day, around others who are the protagonists of their own stories. We also learn, however, more about ourselves-our strengths, our weaknesses. Our mind slowly traverses the world in an attempt to learn more about it; such is the voyage of the mind into itself. With this book, Scattered Dreams & Dragonflies, I attempt to delve deep into those tiny bits and fragments our mind recreates when we are at rest-our dreams. I believe our dreams are of high value, as the mind, when we are conscious, constantly restrains itself, adjusting to our maturity and moral compass. By this metric, we are then tied to the constraints of mundane existence; thus, our awareness keeps us tamed and under control. When we sleep, I believe our minds let loose, freeing all our tension, all our wants, all our undeniable truths, failures, and pains. Just like AI, it creates something out of everything we are. Everything we strive to hide from reality, everything we only wish could be possible, everything we feel is impossible-all of it has its space in our minds. As we sleep, those chains are lifted, and we become our most authentic selves.

Moments; singular, siphoned, like grains of sand which fall restlessly, and build without limits...growing with increasing momentum, each step, beat, a steady staccato , marking down the minutes until the cold inevitability of the ...end ...death. Moments...it's all anyone has. Life is a false illusion. Death is cold reality. I am a Treader. I deal in the currency of death, and I know everything there is to know about it's cold worth. I am useful, never loved. I am used, never thanked. I am need, want, and lust....but never needed or wanted. I am never fulfilled. I am never to know human happiness. I have accepted my designed fate. Why then am I being tested now?? What will happen if I give in to the temptation I know will be my undoing? What will happen if I give in...and love? What will my failure bring...and may those above and below have mercy on all souls, for when the Treader of death falls for life... Worlds End. RH*Mature Content*Advisable only for 18 and over
