Aeron Vita-Luna has a dark heritage. A descendant of the Dark Lady of Imendia, he has both Necromancer and Lumomancer blood running through his veins, the Necromancer powers being dominant. Tragedy seems to follow those who fall in love with their opposite forces, though (as evidenced by Aeron's ancestors, Charis Vita, a Necromancer and Imara Luna, a Lumomancer), and that is what Aeron does...he falls in love with Aylen, a Lumomancer...the last pure one left, in fact.
And although history has shown that pairings such as Aeron's and Aylen's seem to always end in suffering, Aeron is determined to try.
