This is a book, about a girl name Mouse. Her partner and childhood best friend Shadow is never far away. One important fact is they both come from family's of assassins. Their family's are part of an alliance of assassins which spreads world wide. She has to face life head on and without fear if she wants to survive. She ends up finding out about a past she didn't know she even had. who knows she might have the heart and the luck to find love. For her, life's never been normal, the question is dose she want one? the first chapter is the short short that inspired the book. I would like you to read it because it introduces two of the main characters but its not necessary. Also may have some mature content. By mature I mean cursing, some violence, and maybe other stuff. Her mother was killed when she was eleven. Their pack blamed her, and soon after, her father left her and her older brother, going rogue and taking her twin brother. She gets beaten daily, and is a stress reliever to most of the pack members. She finds her mate when she's walking home, but due to her wolf being dormant, she's unable to recognize him. Her mates name is Alexander Lopez. He's the next in line alpha of the Rising Blood Moon pack, and has been searching for his mate since he turned fourteen. He finds her, and because of her dormant wolf, he thinks she's human. Soon she goes missing, because her pack members sold her to a rogue pack. Alex searches, and searches, but cannot find her. Her wolf has to completely go dormant, because it's just causing her pain and she would died of she didn't. Alex thinks that she's dead, because he felt the connection between them break. He finds another girl to be his mate, and when Ashleigh is found, she is heartbroken. Not only was it her pack that made her suffer through all that because they sold her, but her mate had given up on her because her wolf had to go into dormancy. She falls into severe depression, and develops a form of PTSD, that was formed from the shock she had from her pack and mate's betrayal. She isn't happy anymore, and that brightness she had in her personality is gone, leaving a husk of her former self. Will her pack and mate right their terrible wrongs, and bring her back to her former glory, or will they carry on with how they are, and have her fall into a comatose like state?
