Sixteen year old Elizabeth Marie Meyer -- with the sobriquet of "Ellie" -- has always been content with her own imagination and her own way of life. Stuck inside too many ideas of probability and literature, she hasn't exactly experienced a normal childhood. Ellie has always been one to ignore the outside world . . . until she is slammed with the possibility of public school.
