In truth they frightened everyone into submission and anyone who didn't submit paid the price. Tim's father was a stupid man who was in great debt to Bruce Wayne, the leader of these 'Heroes'. To pay his debt he gave up his only son to Bruce. Bruce didn't think a child's life should be used as a bargain, but accepted anyways. He had Tim married off to his first son, Dick Grayson. Now follow Tim's story and learn how he came to love this man he once thought was harsh and cruel. How will Tim's story end? And what was the real reason Bruce accepted Jack Drake's bargain?

Little did they know that both their alter ego's were falling in love. This story contains swearing and little mature actions, but not smut/lemons happening here, I'm not that kind of writer. Tim doesn't plan on talking with Jason when he goes to crime alley, because why on Earth would Red Hood be there, right? ("Stupid fucker" Tim thinks looking back) That was mistake number one. Mistake number two is actually pouring out his emotions to Jason about his family (Like how much he hates Bruce). His third mistake was not turning off his tracker which led to a very awkward confrontation the next day at work. The first mistake started the whole situation and fucked up his life in a bad and good way (he guesses it had something to do with how sad and lonely he was before Jason came in like a wrecking ball). Realistically he knows that he could've handled the whole situation better, but what's the fun in that? It's way more interesting to become friends with the guy you replaced, used to have a crush on and stalked BETRAYING Bruce. To add to that he gets so high that he forgets his feelings until forever. Procrastination at its finest. The best part (but Tim's least favorite part) is that everyone knew about his feelings that he himself didn't know, but they were completely oblivious to how much he was hurting, except Jason. Funny how life works, huh?

This girl was also older than him by 11 months. Basically a year. Soon.. the two meet under dire circumstances, her father is dying, and bruce has to help her adapt and overcome. Both of them training in the process under Ras Al' Ghul. Back to Gotham. As friends, maybe more. And she become the vigilante called The Viper --------------------------------------------------------------------- This story with contact mature themes such as violence. this story will also follow the events of The Dark Knight trilogy, but it will also merge into other storylines. so eventually Bruce and Y/n will adopt Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake and instead of Talia having Damian, Y/n has Damian instead
