It was Friday night supper, and Ponyboy, Sodapop, and Darry were all sitting around the dining room table. The hungry boys were devouring two chickens, when Sodapop rose from the table to grab the chocolate cake from the fridge.
"Chocolate cake?" Soda invites.
"Mhhmmmm." The other two Curtis boys reply. Then suddenly, Pony looks up from his frothy chocolate milk.
"Hey, this is real random, but do you guys remember those girls- what were their names? Julia and Chelsy?"
"Oooooooo!" Sodapop teases, as he carefully balanced three slices of cake on his hands.
"Aw lay off Soda,"
"Yup. I sure remember them, they were almost like our sisters," Darry replies to Pony's earlier remark.
"Awww your first girlfriends, huh Pony?" Soda continues, smiling.
"Shut up before I-"
"Cool it boys, I'm tired from a long day at work!" Darry warns.

"You're different from what I expected," she said softly. "How so?" he asked, glancing at her. "I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare." He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that." OR Y/n wakes up in the deadly Squid Game, surrounded by strangers and fighting to survive. What she doesn't know is that the mysterious Frontman is watching her every move through the cameras- and she's caught his attention.
