A spaceship crashed into the sun twelve years ago and broke a piece off of the sun. At the same time, a meteor came in contact with the moon and broke off a chunk of the moon. The pieces were headed the same way - planet Earth. As Geal and Elidi took their very first breath, the chunks fell into their mouths, and they inherited special powers.
