Second semester of senior year is not all laughs. Especially when you're attacked by a three hundred pound hellhound that shouldn't exist and are whisked away to a camp full of people and creatures that definitely aren't human.
Sadly, for Autumn James, this is exactly what happened when she met Percabeth.

Decided to write this after my 10 year anniversary reread. They are an appropriate age in this (obviously). These are Rick Riordan's characters, not mine. PJO and HOO spoilers!
