Michael Yu is a purple, special toilet cleaner from Germany. His life is going nowhere until he meets Beet McRoot, a handsome, bald woman with a passion for Beetroots.
Michael takes an instant disliking to Beet and the dumb and evil ways she learnt during her years in Australia.
However, when an alien from the planet Zork tries to eat Michael, Beet springs to the rescue. Michael begins to notices that, through her acts of heroism, Beet is actually rather loving at heart.
But, the pressures of Beet's job as a Prime Minister leave her blind to Michael's affections and Michael takes up knitting to try and distract himself.
Finally, when the creepy evil scientist, Dr. Ya Mum, threatens to come between them, Beet has to act fast. But will they ever find the fabulous love that they deserve?
