Thorar, a dwarven mercenary out for gold and glory, joins his mentor on a secret mission to kill the last of the ancient dragons. But the fact that he's the high ranking officer's protégé only makes those initiated into the elite dwarven army despise him more than the rest of the hired swords.

Urim, a trusted advisor to the mission's Commander brought his friend for the journey as a final test before he can join the Brotherhood Without Glory. But unlike some of his Brothers he's worried more about the backstabbing politics within the Order than old dragon myths blown out of proportion.

Their destination - a tiny island where three oceans meet. Their goal - simple. Destroy the dragon cult that dwells there and if need be their false god. But in a world were any skill can be elevated to the level of magic and Tempest threatens to turn the tide at a moment's notice nothing is ever really "simple."

*Work in Progress - Second Edition*

As I've improved my craft since the original story was published I've decided to complete a rewrite before I finish Feral (part II). Distractions abounding I'll post the WIP of the second edition here, until the re-write is done.

Rise of Fire: Dragons Reborn [COMPLETED] by RosaleeRain
49 parts Complete Mature
The world had long since forgotten the age of dragons, those creatures that had once ruled the skies as gods had long since disappeared after the conclusion of the Great Demon Wars. Dragons became nothing more than a fading legend, a story to tell children at bedtime. But the gods could not let the dragons die, for they were the last defense against the demon armies and the dark god Vekkar. Talia had been born and raised in a world of darkness acting as an agent of Hephatus, goddess of assassins and death. She knew only a life of killing, sometimes for justice, sometimes for honor, always for money. Her morals were opaque at best. But when she's deployed to the city of Arboros she finds herself thrust into a world of political games, opposing powers, and constant threat. Nowhere was safe even for her. Her goals became muddied, and then lost altogether when she meets the Dwarven Prince. Bromyr had spent the last five years of his life chasing ghosts, desperate to find the lost dragon eggs. His people thought him crazy, his father stripped him of his titles, but he never gave up. Eventually his effort bore fruit and he hastily made way to return to his homeland only to get caught up in the city of Arboros. It was there that he met an intriguing half-giant, a woman who ignited a fire everywhere she went. In the end she was the one who inadvertently brought about the new age of dragons. What could go wrong when an ill tempered assassin becomes the first dragon rider of a new age? ***Cover made by annie1loves1you***

The hope of saving the world now rests on the shoulders of one young man. Can he stop this evil before it rises again? Or will the darkness snuff out the light and reign supreme? Find out in the first exciting installment of The Chronicles of Arnora: The Curse of the Blood Moon! My story takes place on a alternate Earth, in the fictional realm of Arnora. A place abundant with magic and full of different races such as Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, Witches and Wizards. I've taking inspiration from some of my favorite well known sources to bring this story to life. Some of them include The Lord of the Rings, The Witcher, Eragon and even Harry Potter. If you enjoy epic fantasy stories then I think you'll enjoy my story The Chronicles of Arnora: The Curse of the Blood Moon. This is an original story of my own creation with my own original characters. Before I started publishing my story on Wattpad I've had several people read it and they've told me it was good and they enjoyed reading it and I hope you all enjoy it as well. I've always been told I have a very active and creative imagination and I should use that i it a like and follow for more chapters to come. Please feel free to point out any grammatical errors you find that I may have missed as I'm constantly editing the story to make it better. *If any names in my story are that of real world people it's completely coincidental, I use a random name generator, which creates countless names, to help with the naming of some of my characters.

Once, Aurish was a land of unmatched beauty and prosperity, where dragons soared freely and the people lived in harmony with nature. But their arrogance believing themselves divine led to their downfall. The gods sent a plague that turned the infected into savage, soul-eating monsters. The kingdom fell, and the dragons, once revered, disappeared. As the plague spread beyond Aurish, neighboring kingdoms fell one by one each succumbing to the relentless tide of horror. In a desperate bid to survive, the nine kingdoms united to form the Xandorian Empire. Despite their differences, they were bound by a single purpose: to fight the growing darkness. In this new empire, every teenager reaching seventeen is conscripted to fight. Their paths as either warriors, scribes, or dragon riders chosen for them by fate. Amidst the chaos and despair, hope flickered in the heart of the Xandorian Empire, like a candle in the dark, waiting to be ignited by the courage of its people or maybe just a white haired boy. ____________________________________________ ~Any bad comment will be taken down. ~I do not own any of the pictures in this story and got them all from Pinterest. ~This is a BL. A gay novel. As in two men. Jsyk. ~I apologize if the lines are a bit off on your device. Drekablóð Rising:Fire(Book 1) by Phoenix-Dragoness
34 parts Complete
The war that started it all. Five hundred years ago a war erupted in Elementa when humans started hunting a revered race called the Drekablóð; half humanoid, half dragon. The humans saw them as abominations for their differences; fear of a race more powerful than another makes others do rash and deadly things. After the humans slaughtered a whole settlement of Drekablóð, the magical creatures of Elementa rose up in defense of the Drekablóð. The humans likewise called on their dwarf and elf allies. Thus Bellum ex Quod Draco ipsos Troiugenas began. For ten long, bloody years the races fought hard for the future of the Drekablóð. One wanting to exterminate them like pest. The other wanting them to survive and flourish. In the end, the humans won, but their victory cost them and the rest of Elementa dearly. The alicorns and dwarves disappeared. The wyverns and elves were practically extinct. Dragons were a rare sight. Only the humans survived to tell the tale of how they wiped out the evil monsters that tried to take their lands. Elementa, originally a lush and beautiful land, was now split into four different climates, equally harsh in their own way. But the humans prevailed in cultivating Elementa and chasing away any remaining magical creatures into her far corners. With the resistance of magical creatures no longer in their way, the humans continued their 'sport' of hunting the Drekablóð into extinction. Half a millennium later, the seeress Carmentha foresaw the return of the Drekablóð, and restoring Elementa to her prime and defeating the wicked and harsh rulership of Elementa. These four children have been destined to save Elementa before they were ever born. Can they overcome their difficulties and save Elementa? Or will they fail and allow Elementa to fall into darkness forever? There will be some minimum swearing and minimum acts of violence. I would rate this book for 14 and up.

Whoever Fiáin was born to be died along with her twin brother. She died when a strange white wolf came into their territory and murdered her brother in front of her. All her life, Fiáin had lived with the guilt of having hidden rather than trying to defend her twin, and it didn't matter to her that she had only been a cub herself, or that the effort would've been futile. In her eyes, her brother's loss was her fault. But just as painful as that guilt was the fear that accompanied it; a fear so relentless that she'd never taken her place in her pack, and had settled into a position only one rung above omega. But her family think she's failing to step up, and her father believes that if he just pushes her hard enough, her inner wolf will push back. Cróga, on the other hand, had always known his place. He'd grieved for his younger brother too, but as his father's heir and the subject of an elven oracle's dire prophecy, he couldn't let fear hold him back. Whatever dreams or desires he might have had didn't matter, because one day he would be an alpha male, and a commander of both the Tírgarda and a naval fleet, duty-bound to guard the coast of Tírlaochra from invading forces. His own guilt weighed heavily on him too, because the oracle had forewarned that he could only take his place once his father lost his life, and Cróga wasn't ready to face that loss, or to face his own self-doubt. When the white wolf reappears, Fiáin isn't prepared for her father's decision to send her away, to be the mate of a wolf she barely knows. She's even less prepared for a journey in the company of Styrkr, a male from across the sea who wants to travel Tírlaochra before taking more responsibility in his own pack. None of that matters for long, though, because when the black ships appear from the fog that blankets the sea, war returns to a land that's known peace for centuries, and both Fiáin and Cróga will need to find their places, for the good of everyone.
