I've spent all of my high school years in Australia as an exchange student. It quickly went from exciting, to as boring as a Justin Bieber song. Now I'm in my last year and just as I'm looking forward to leaving and going back to NZ, things get intense. It all started with me sneaking into a Fall Out Boy concert and bumping into a blonde guy who, at first, I assume was a basic punk wannabe, but ended up being an extraordinary punk wannabe who I argued with a lot and introduced me to things I never knew. I've promised dad loads of things before I came here, but everything was ruined after the night of the concert.

In a quiet tone I respond with an okay. I recall my mom saying before she left to me " I love you Samantha." It just replays and replays in my head "I love you Samantha."
