They all led a normal life, going to high school, dealing with over-expectant teachers and a cranky tennis coach. They even had their cliques, though they were all in some sort of nerdy group. There were two book nerds, Sadie and Tess, there were a couple of writer nerds, Catrina and Taylee, and there was a math nerd, Alex. This is generally speaking, of course. They all crossed over some way into each others' territory.
But as I was saying. They were five, very normal, though somehow not, teenage girls. Perhaps this is why they were chosen for the Challenges. They were normal, yes, but they stood out enough to catch the attentions of the one they called Total Overlord. They would represent all of humanity. Their fight was not only for them, but for the whole Earth, and the Challenges they faced?
