When Audrey Silkson becomes the only child. She surrounds herself with a group of close friends, who plan and commit murders for their own pleasure. In this vivid, suspenseful thriller, Audrey comes to the conclusion that being connected with murderers is where she belongs. As Audrey becomes a killer like the rest, everything suddenly starts going downhill. When a person she thought she successfully murdered, ends up still being alive, Revenge is being looked for and people get betrayed, they then realize it is not just one person that they are going up against. As they become on a hit list they start to notice that this isn't just a game. As people die, screams roar out, and people struggle for survival. More complications occur and they start to become aware that...the game is far yet from being over.

Death seems to be a reoccurring trend in Leah Levson's life; first she loses her family in a car crash which forces her most dreaded nightmare to come true. Leah is placed into care, she has to fight her own inner demons while trying to make friends after the death of her old ones and navigate her way around a new school. Secondary school is hard enough. When the blame starts to be directed onto her and with the cloak of guilt covering her after the way their friendship was left, Leah embarks on a mission with the help of her new best friend Roxy to uncover the truth and solve the mystery surrounding David's death and to prove to not only the ones blaming her but also to herself that she is innocent and played no part in his death. She needs to find closure if she is ever going to recover and move on. Only when the verdict of suicide turns in murder does she realise just how tangled she is in a web of bare-faced lies, broken promises and deceit. With the culprit determined not to be exposed and closer than she thinks, for Leah untangling the web will make her question her trust in those closet to her. As she soon discovers it's not only her hiding a secret; everyone hides something.
