Eighteen-year-old Aurora Dozé was under a sleeping curse for exactly one hundred years. One hundred years spent dreaming of the real world. She is awoken when someone places a kiss upon her lips and she is determined to find out who this mysterious person was. And while searching for her true love, Aurora is trying her best to grow accustomed to her new life in this strange world that people around her call America.
Will she be able to find who kissed her in the madness of 21st-century America?

When Aurora was born an evil curse was placed upon her by her father's ex. On Aurora's coronation, Maleficent placed a curse that on her 16th birthday she would prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and die. After Maleficent left a fairy changed the curse that she would fall in a deep sleep and could be wakened by true loves kiss. When Maleficent found this out she searched all the different realms for a way to stop this. She found the worst spell that she could use to get her revenge.
