Caleb and Ariana were in love. For four years, they had been together.
Now, in their senior year, they were closer than ever.
But their lives were about to change forever.
~
Ariana and Caleb were in the second semester of senior year when Ariana found out they were going to separate colleges.
But it was also when she found out that she would be having Caleb's baby.
~
"Ariana, I'll just go to Yale with you." Caleb said, after he'd learned he would be a father. "But Caleb, Harvard is your dream school." Ariana said. "I don't care. You're my number one. I would be nothing without you." Caleb said. "Caleb," Ariana said. "I've made up my mind. I'm coming to Yale with you. They accepted me, and I never decided where I was going. But I know now. I'm going with you, Ari." Caleb said. Ariana tried to say something, but Caleb just kissed her to make her quiet. "I. Am going. To Yale. With. You. End of story." Caleb said. Ariana wasn't going to argue further. "Ok, fine." she said. "Good. Now, let's talk about names." Caleb said, smiling.
Caleb and Ariana spent the rest of the afternoon narrowing down a few names.
For boys, they had decided on Jared, Niko and Aryan.
For girls, they thought of Clarity, June and Evelyn.
"I'm glad you're mine." Caleb said. "So am I." Ariana said.
"I love you, Ariana." Caleb said.
~
Four weeks later, Ariana had an ultrasound.
She was happy to know she was having a girl.
"Wait, hold on." the doctor said, looking at the screen.
Ariana was nervous something was wrong.
"Ms. Weber, Mr. Woods, it's twins." Dr. Martin said.
Caleb and Ariana hugged each other, crying happily.
"A boy and a girl." Dr. Martin said.
"Ari, this is amazing!" Caleb said.
"I can't believe it! This is great." Ariana said.
Caleb and Ariana went home, happy.
They decided they could pick the names now.
For their son, they chose Aryan Blaze Woods.
For their daughter, they chose Clarity Mae Woods.
They couldn't believe the twins were only six months away.
